RAFTING TIPS FOR KIDS
Only Brahmpuri/Club House Rafting (09 kms) is permitted to the children above 14 years of age. Parents must ensure to not take their kids of below 14 years along while they are going for rafting.
RAFTING TIPS FOR YOUNGSTERS & MIDDLE AGE
Rafting is a fun filled and an adventurous activity. But at the same time, it does require a lot of Care and skills. Youngsters and middle-aged people must go as per the group’s consent. Do not take any decision on an individual basis. Keep the group’s comfort above oneself.
RAFTING TIPS FOR ELDERLY
Elders must go for rafting if and only if their health condition allows them to do so. Ensure to prefer their health condition above the fun of rafting.
RAFTING TIPS FOR EXPERIENCE RAFTERS
Experienced rafters must not underestimate River Ganga. Although one must have done it previously, do not get over excited and over confident in doing rafting. Since the flow is pretty high, one should follow the guide’s instructions well.
RAFTING TIPS FOR NON-SWIMMERS
Even if you are a non –swimmer, there is no fear in doing rafting. In case, the raft topples, do not worry about drowning. Since you are provided with a life jacket, you can easily swim in water. At the same time Safety Kayaker will be rescuing all the Rafters and helps taking again on board.
RAFTING TIPS FOR PHOBIC PERSONS
People suffering with phobias issues (aquaphobia/hydrophobia) are advised to not go for rafting under any pretext.
RAFTING SEASON
One of the most adventurous activities to explore, River Rafting in Rishikesh can be enjoyed during the months of Mid-September to Mid-July. As the season of monsoon starts approaching, it becomes a risky affair to go for rafting. Hence, the activity remains completely closed during months of July, August and Mid-September.
