Rishikesh is a popular city or tehsil in the district of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Generally the conclusive point of the trip is the famous Ram Jhula (approximately 20 minutes away from Brahmpuri).

This duration of time also includes time that is consumed in preparing for the rafting – wearing necessary safety gears such as jackets and helmets. One can go for camping packages of 2 to 3 days or 4 to 5 days. Whatever be the duration, it is extremely advisable to stick close to the group and come back to the tents in case of overnight stay in the camps at all the times.
